Musing Mondays (19 October)

Today’s Musing Mondays question is appropriate: “Are you planning on participating in the upcoming 24 Hour Read-a-thon (either as a reader or cheerleader)? Have you made any preparations for the event? And, veterans out there, any tips you’d like to share with the newbies?”

I am planning to take part in the Read-a-thon (my first!), though I just found out (read: was reminded) that I’m going to be out of the house for four or five hours on Saturday. I will just have to do that much more reading during the other nineteen or twenty hours? As to preparations, I’m going to have to get some snacks and caffeine ready, and figure out how I’m going to stay awake all night. That part might just not happen. We shall see.

And, for your enjoyment, a list of books I might just read this weekend:

Measle and the Wrathmonk, by Ian Ogilvy
Mischief Maker’s Manual, by Sir John Hargrave
A Midsummer Night’s Dork, by Carol Gorman
The Case of the Missing Books, by Ian Sansom
The Bermudez Triangle, by Maureen Johnson
One More Year, by Sana Krasikov

That should be enough to tide me over. 🙂
